PP & R-PP

Polyethylene (PP), in the form of granules, is molded into finished products.

Properties

Like every polymer, PP has specific properties

  • Easy molding
  • Resistance to temperature, shock, scratch, crease
  • Chemical resistance
  • Transparency
  • Lightness
  • Rigidity

Transformation technologies

  • Injection,
  • Extrusion

Applications

Mainly used in products for the food industry for its resistance to T °.This material is also microwaveable.

  • Production of buckets,
  • Pots,
  • Trays.

Recycling & R-PP

PP is 100% recyclable and can therefore be recycled to produce new packaging, which means less impact on natural resources and helps reduce CO2 emissions by up to 110%. However, the characteristics of R-PP are identical to those of virgin plastic and this packaging benefits from the same approvals, with the exception of conformity of use for food products.
To simply identify all its plant-based plastic packaging and other materials with a reduced carbon impact, CVP uses the name: « SO GREEN by CVP ».
